Why [oh why] are midi inst not reassigned correctly when reopening a session
 

Often Il jump from song to song.. and 70% of the time the inst are re assigned to other things like the...drum track is now assigned to minigrand.. or vice versa
I have to recheck this crap so often.. that I just forget to cry about it here :}
opening things for quick rebounces really turns things ugly if I miss this

what the heck ..
anyone else?
anyone find a reason?
or .. a fix
and of course: "really avid? 20-18 still cant get midi shyt together?"
or is it me

but probably a whole lot of other reasons too.

Drives me bananas. It's the modern equivalent of a disgruntled assistant engineer coming in and unplugging all your MIDI gear "for a laugh". :)

Yes its Avids way of saying..shouldnt you check out Studio 1


that and still having TDM era 400-600$ plugins in my folder.

God I hope that never happens to me. I'm working on a lot more MIDI now, I'll keep an eye out!
