Most Stable Platform for Digi002

Hi,

I am hoping to resurrect my Digi002, and really want to get a stable platform to work with so I can make some music rather than spending all my time fighting s/w bugs:mad:.

I want to work with a laptop Should I go with a PC or a Mac ?

If PC which version of windows ?

What version of Protools (LE) should I use?

Thanks very much for any advice:-).

mac seems to be the professionals choice,

it makes sense, %100 OS compatible out of the box with the Mac hardware, and only a small hardware range to support and debug issues on for external applications like pro-tools

I agree with using a Mac if you want to go with a laptop. For desktops, its hard to beat a scratch-built quad setup. The best version of PT is the one that works with the version of OSX you have. I have been quite happy with PT8 (and 7.4 since both have Elastic Audio).

The Mac has been & is still is the predominate platform with ProTools.
OSX and version 7xxx is rock solid.... Windows has gained ground, but
much more bugs, dealing with Windows OS....
