EUCON 3.3 crashes every time when launching PT 12.2

I had zero issues in PT 12.1 with Eucon 3.3 but now with PT 12.2 every time I launch it Eucon crashes. I then relaunch Eucon and everything works.

Anyone else has that issue?

I have been on the phone with tech support for the last couple of hours on this issue ... There is a bug that is relevant specifically to VCA master faders by the look of it ... Has anyone noticed that the VCA's have input monitoring and record enable buttons? This should be reported as a bug today by Avid tech support ... Workaround for now, is to not use VCA's apparently, lets hope it gets fixed asap :)

Interesting. I have HD so VCA's are my daily must haves... going to check on that when I get back to the studio. Might have to roll back to 12.1 especially since there is nothing new for us HD peeps anyway, sigh

Yep seems buggy...I've had the crashes and then even the crash window showing which I can then dismiss and it goes on working OK. My biggest repeat issue is closing a PT session, quitting and relaunching with the Eucon not responding to the relaunch. I have to the use the "restart Eucon apps" option...which I've had to do in the past...mostly I think because I stress it with "removing" and "claiming" it between a Mac PT HD rig and a Win7 plain rig. I've grown used to the tweakineess of that but this is ONLY on the Win7 PT vanilla box...keeping the Mac quarantined for now.

I should mention that in this config I use an Artist Control and Mix, but sometimes only the Control surface.

you were correct the VCA faders in 12.2 are broken...what in the world?

Anyway, rolling back to 12.1 until this is fixed.

Makes you wonder who does their QA and UAT...unbelievable

Re: EUCON 3.3 crashes every time when launching PT 12.2

actually I stand corrected on the VCA's they always had the input monitoring and record buttons...they just don't do anything... I rolled back to 12.1 and even looked at images of older versions and there they were...

Anyway, still hoping they will fix the eucon crash sooner than later

Here too, every time when sessin is opened. Started after 12.2 update. After crash, reopened Eucon is solid.

Re: EUCON 3.3 crashes every time when launching PT 12.2

correct when the session is opened, not when pt launches.
I first thought it had to do with layout settings I had saved for the session and re did them, but no go.
