Mouse Problem

I`m using a Logitech G400 and in the last mount I started having strange problem. When I move stuff around sometime it just drop as If I let go of the left Mouse button. I was using a wireless mouse before so I changed it to this G400 USB but still same problem. Funny thing is that I don`t get this problem in Windows 10 or in Cubase 10 ?

Re: Mouse Problem

I have a Logitech M500 USB mouse on my internet Mac and sometimes it drops communicating with the computer. Same era M500 on my Mac Pro cheesegrater and it's been flawless. What I'm thinking is happening is that somehow the communications get buggered because of other programs running on the computer like something is fighting for the mouse's resources. That and I've also had the problem you seem to be having with losing the object you clicked on at random. Could be the mouse button sprint mechanism is weak - but not sure.

Re: Mouse Problem

I've experienced this with my Logitech m510. Try new batteries.

Also, consider trying Steermouse.

It's a third party (paid) mouse driver that gives you way more control over mouse behaviour. Sounded ridiculous to me at first but now i can't live without it.

And on Windows, use X-Mouse Button Control. Best mouse driver ever for Windows and it's free.

Re: Mouse Problem

Thanks for the reply but like I said in my post I now use a G400 and it`s a USB Mouse so no battery just a usb cable that I did try to switch USB port to be on the safe side.

Have you solved the problem or are you still chasing it?
I ask because I wonder if it's something endemic to some of Logitech mice?
