Here's my bands latest! we took the verse from an old song we had, but this is the final version. Took us a while to finish it, but here it is!

I think this sounds great, very professional quality. Kind of like Garbage mixed with Letters to Cleo. Did you send the track somewhere else to get it mastered? I hope I can get record a track of this sound quality. Was everything recorded live?

alright everyone, I have a new band for you to listen to. The drummer was HORRIBLE, so please keep that in mind. I took as much time with him as they could afford, had to do a lot of editing and it still sounded sloppy but I did what I could with it. The band didn't have a big budget so some of the things were rushed, but overall it's not too bad. time for the criticism!

This sounds pretty good, much better then must stuff I hear from screamo bands. The drummer adds some weird fills...I don't know what he was trying to do. The kit sounds pretty good, especially the cymbals. The song is a little montomous, but that has nothing to do with you. How did you record the guitars, they sound great.

All,
This is a band that I have been desperately trying to finish up. 14 and 15 year old. I posted a few tunes a few months back with them. Same guys. They did a 6 song demo, and for 14 and 15 year old, they did a great job.

S.A. - Can't You Tell

This is one more out of the way. Ran it back out to the Neve's at bounce as sort of an experiment. I liked the overall sound.

Here was an older one

Hi IntelDoc,
i really like the guitar sounds your getting especially on the steel-string acoustics. At the time i bought my Apex 435 i couldnt find any in the country so i basically bought one from musiciansbuy based on your recommendation and the results you posted. Im am liking the mic but am not having much luck experimenting with placement. If possible, the next session you do with multimple 435's would you be able to take a quick photo of the setup so i can get a few pointers. Thanks.

Cheers,
Ruben

Re: More technofolk.

Ruben,
Not sure if this will help, but here ya go. This was the setup for the "HIATUS" Session I did awhile back.

SETUP 1

SETUP 2

435's were into the DigiPRE

103 and 012 were into the X73i's

103 also had the 1176 on it going into Pro Tools.

Hope that helps some?

Good stuff if we think the age. Mix: Matter of taste but lead voc is too high.
