Cloud All Messed Up
 
Hi All,
Just ordered the 30 Gb Avid Cloud to move projects between studio & mobile studio. Today I recorded drumtracks for 5 projects on my laptop. Everything went smooth. Back in the studio started working on the first song. The tracks downloaded fine. After about an hour I got a " Hard Fail" error for an upload task and after shutting down Pro Tools and starting it up again, I don't see any of my cloud projects anymore. Using a "recent" link to a project produces another error:

Could not complete your request because it is not the right kind of document (-20006).

This is very annoying and worse: i can't get my projects and recordings back.:mad:
So any help would be appreciated.

I am on osx High Sierra & ProTools 12.8.3

I realize I am experiencing the exact same problems.
Projects disappearing, upload error, lost versions, can't open file, can't login.



Projects started to come back af 24 hours. However the latest edit of a song is gone. Especcially when using using grouped files with elastic audio edits Projects seems to have trouble to keep up with the uploading and end up in an upload error, ruining your latest version.

I am a happy PT user , suffering from an occasional bug , but on the whole it's a great product.
However, Cloud Collaboration, is total rubbish. It is simply not stable. A good idea but bad execution.
Avid charged me 89 euro for 30Gb of useless cloudspace. Complete waste of money.

Now I realize why you to have agree with the non-refund option.:mad:

It's still not stable. Planning to post some screenshots of the various errors i get when using the Cloud Collaboration.

Yes & No, I found out I had to ' buy' a service request. That's IMHO the wrong attitude.

Aren't they reading this stuff ??

BTW Here is a screen shot from a sign-in error (different Mac, same account)

Now's it's a bad gateway when signing in!! Nothing wrong with my internet connection though.

Cloud collaboration isn’t working from day one. Didn’t think it would take so long to repair it... We once had a working online collaboration when they supported the Res Rocket Network. Then Avid bought this company and online collaboration disappeared...
