Pro Tools upgrade to 2018.12 won't let me activate.
 

Hi. Today I purchased Pro Tools Crossgrade Annual Subscription so that I could upgrade from Pro Tools 12 to Pro Tools 2018.12. I downloaded and installed 2018.12 without issue. However it shows as not activated in the Avid application manager and when I go to open Pro Tools now is comes up with this message:

So I now cannot open Pro Tools.

Can you help please?

Your account shows you haven't activated your license yet. Please launch iLok License Manager and sign in, then activate your Pro Tools Subscription license to your iLok or iLok Cloud. I'd also recommend uninstalling Application Manager and installing Avid Link.

Where is your ilok key as thats not connected in that picture?

It is plugged into the computer's USB port where it has always been.

Hi Christopher,

I know, but I don't know why? In "show details" it says that the iLok is owned by another user, but I only have the one iLok account. So I'm confused.

Could this be the problem?

Yeah that would likely be the problem so Jeffro from Avid is checking this for you and he can see the ilok account which we mods can't so hang tight as Jeffro is the best :-)
