Can not drag & drop or import audio PT 12 on Mac
 

I know there is a bunch of threads on this... NONE OF THEM FIX IT.

none that i have found yet.. so i am asking again

i have pt 12.5.2 mac os 10.11.6 so please don't through compatibility is the issue and run.

i can not drag & drop, or import audio into a session anymore.. things worked fine before, now.. can't..

i have completely reinstalled on a new hard drive in a new computer with a fresh 12.5.2 PT download

i have click on interleaved on/off - no help
i have click "import audio" in preferences. - no help

does someone actually have a fix for this? something that works?

Might be an issue with permissions. Sorry, can't remember the process to repair them but maybe google repair permissions mac or something along those lines..

What exactly happens? What exactly do you see in the UI?

I notice it more when I Bounce to track on PT 11HD then try to import, workspace open or drag/drop to my session, new session anything I get the problem and its not consistent, it is sporadic.

I just updated from 12 to 19.5 and Mojave and things are working fine, except those files I was trying to import still won't move...

BUT...

I have noticed, that other wav files are working perfectly, so I am thinking this has to be an issue on the actual wav file itself NOT protools.

I can't even open the wav files for listening to with out protools.

So, with that being said.. I am sure that this is probably NOT the forum for this problem, although if someone had a fix, I am sure there are many people(from the amount of threads about this) that would really appreciate a fix! Myself included.

I am going to go to PT 11HD and re-bounce them and make sure they work on that machine before moving to new machine and follow up with the results.
