Backing Track Help

Hello friends,
I need some expert advice on a good way to run backing tracks for a live band performance. My situation is simple, I will be mixing my backing tracks (loops sounds etc) in pro tools down to a stereo pair and then having a track for a click. So as it stands now I will only have use for 3 tracks
2-stereo mix
1-click
I would love to know if there is a reliable 4 track digital hard disk recorder any other device that I could use, any input would be greatly appreciated

Re: Backing Track Help

i Don't know of a 4 track, but of 8 tracks...
I used a Roland VS1880 very successfully with no crashes...Just load your tracks in and it has up to 8 direct outs... and good memory access points if your drummer or keyboardist is running it....(I'm also one with a CDR if your interested, as I use a 828 with titanium). Regardless of whether mine is in the picture...i do recomend this as a very stable system....

The VS880 may also work, I don't know if it has multiple outs though...
In the future more outs may be good...
BGVs,
pads,
strings,
click,
misc guitars...
