Help, View Meters stop
 

Can anyone tell me why my view meters stop in the middle of play mode. the lights in the meters stay frozen just after pressing "rewind" and don't move in play mode even though the song is playing. I then go to change the buffer size and can't exit that screen - I then have to ctr-alt-del out of it. I'm running PT 7 in winXP. I have been running this for 3 years with no problems like this, I have a feeling I may have got a virus. Help!

Doesn't sound like a virus problem to me, your VU meters (for VOLUME UNITS) acting up and the program freezing sounds like a configuration issue. Please post a sandra report and let's see what you're working with. This is common with an "advised-against" configuration. Works for awhile then "magically" STOPS working. Didn't recently "update" to Internet Explorer 8 by chance?
