Eucon instability

I'm dealing with all kinds of Eucon instability. Moving over from the Avid Control Surface users Facebook page

I have tried a ton of things, currently, I have 5g router which is dedicated to the system. The Mac, Dock and 2 S1s are connected directly, while the tablets are connected to the Wifi. I have the WIFI for my Mac turned off. I'm not sure where to go from here, but I'm spending almost an hour spread over the working day dealing with this system, restarts, turning off and on control surfaces, turning off and on ipads/ Fire HD.

Please help me get this working. It's a cool system once it's stable, but I'm currently really unhappy.

In EuControl on the my surfaces list, what is happening when the surfaces do this. Can you see if it's the tablet that is disconnecting or the S1?

with everything connected, 2 S1 Dock with 2 amazon fire HD10 and an iPad Air, the Control app keeps disconnecting, which is usually the iPad. As a test, I turned off the iPad and the S1 Left took over Control, and it still kept dropping. I just restarted everything, and it's stable again.

I have a similar setup, minus the dock. Same thing, but its loads more stable setting static IP for the Amazon tablets.

What usually happens for me is the Master (ipad air), or Hybrid (Fire HD10) tablet drops out temporarily. Usually reconnects on its own, but sometimes doesnt. I have to reboot everything.

I thought it was just me.

that's exactly what happens to me. I have videos on the Facebook group showing it.

I'm not quite sure how to set static IP for the Amazon Fire HD10. I don't see that option in the Network details for the WIFI connection

Bump

How do I get my system stable. When the system is working properly, it's magic. I'm willing to spend money. How do I get support?

I know this is not the case for everyone but please make sure you have disabled voice assistants on the tablets as this definitely causes an issue like this.

The manual said if you're running many tablets, it may be necessary to get a quad band router. would that help?

This is the router I'm using

I have 4 S1's, Dock, and (5) Fire 10HD. All extra features of the tablets are set to off so they are lean and mean, and static IP's which are then set as reserved addresses on my Google WiFi.

Incredibly smooth and no dropouts since doing the static addresses.

S1's still get confused, but only when restarting computer. I haven't powered down in a week, and they never lose connection if I don't power down the comp.

This is all hugely commendable for such a new product to be this stable... thanks for all the work, Eddie and team. Could not have been easy to do.

Loving these surfaces... finally getting my speed back after years of ICON muscle-memory!!!

peace
