Computer Crashes

I have M-Powered 7 on my older iMac that has been working for years.I had to reinstall my operating system and erase and install from the DVDs that came with the computer.All went well with the install.I have backed up my years of projects on a hard drive.When I install my Pro Tools program from the original discs,it seems to load shows the icon and in application folder it is there.But when I open the program the computer crashes.What am I doing wrong.! The operating system is osx 10.4.Tiger.Thanks

At what point does it crash? Could be a plugin causing it. Gonna be really hard to find much support on something that old, but post all your system info/interface etc. Does M-Powered show in your Avid account? If so, try downloading a fresh copy. I still have M-Powered 8 in my account.
