S3 faders 1-8 not sending/receiving data
 

I have an S3 that has been RMA'd once. I've tried all iterations of firmware with no change in behavior. First 8 faders don't respond at all when synced with EUCON. Faders 9-16 are good.

I have ruled out the faders as the issue. During boot up/firmware update sometimes they will move sporadically. Also swapped #1 and #10 and no change.

Anybody with knowledge of the circuitry possibly have an explanation? I have the board opened up right now and I can see the green LEDs (rear side) near the faders are not lit up for the #1-8 half. They come on briefly when power is cycled.

Thanks Eddie. Yes, 1-8 still unresponsive during test mode. About 99% sure this is an electrical fault somewhere in the circuitry.
