PT Dock / MTRX Control
 

Does anyone have an idea if / when the PT Dock and associated software will be able to control the full monitoring capabilities of the MTRX for ATMOS mixing?

I asked for EuCon control for the Omni I/O monitor control a few years ago. They said it’s impossible by design but is a good proposal for future products.
Sorry, but I can‘t tell if it‘s possible for your interface.

What are you looking for in “ATMOS mixing” control? The dock can only control volume/mute. You set everything else up from DADman for channels input/output. If you select DADman, Eucon will pull all the input/output faders for the monitor control to the dock. Monitor control output for ATMOS really doesn’t need more than that: mute select or calibrated level. Dim is just a nicety. Everything else is the responsibility of the mixer software.

We are currently working on Monitoring for the Dock and Control App. This will be in a release later this year.

Apple rejected the iPad App so the release is on hold for the moment. For some reason they didnt like some code that has been there since day one!
UPDATE: It will be mid January now sorry.

Is the monitoringin the app for the MTRX interfaces only, Eddie?

No, it will work with any EUCON enabled monitoring App inc XMON, the new PT Master Fader control, Nuendo, Cubase, Pyramix etc.
