Mastering_Looking for the Best Brickwall Limiter

Hey All,

I do quit a bit of mastering for my clients and I am looking for an alternative to my current brickwall limiter of choice as well as any suggestions for eq and compression. I currently have

Waves Ren EQ and Comp
Q Series EQ
L1 (don't like the L1 very much)
Smack
T-rax mastering suite
I am currently have a demo of Roger Nichols Finis limiter
Sony Oxford Inflator

I have also ran a demo of Ozone before and the URS stuff, didn't knock me out but I didn't spend a ton of time with either plug.

I have heard pretty good things about the L3.

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks, Chad

The Massey L2007 Limiter is awesome, and people rave about it all the time. Best part, you can download a fully functional, non expiring demo from the Massey plugins site and see for yourself. The demo has a few limitations (can't recall settings, and a couple other minor things) but the full version is only $89. Try it and I'm quite sure you'll love it

Cheers,
Andrew

PS- all the other Massey plugins are awesome too!!

How much are you willing to pay??? The best one I have in my aresenal right now, is the TC MD3 but for that one you need an additional PowerCore-card as well... I used to use Waves L2 alot but haven´t tried the new Waves L3-16, just the L3. For being free, the Massey is amazing for sure... Then it has to do with what type of music you are producing, what would be your best choice!

Thanks for the info! I'll give the Massey a try tonight, I've never even heard of them. I have many TC tools at work and I love them but I do not have a powercore at home. TC is first class gear and I hope to own a powercore in the future.

Thanks again!

Chad
