Pro Tools 12.6.1 and Axiom 61 Midi Controller Issue
 

Hello All, I upgraded to AVID Pro Tools 12.6.1 to other day and ever since my Axiom 61 midi controller won't work in Pro Tools, I can load a standalone virtual instrument and make it work but no luck in Pro Tools. I'M not sure if there is something specific I need to do now to make it work again inside Pro Tools, Please see my system specs below, Thank you...

Yes I tried that, Didn't work, I didn't have to do that the in Pro Tools 12.5.0 it just worked? Been working since Pro Tools 8 M-Powered but since I upgraded to PT 12.6.1 the midi keyboard doesn't work anymore in Pro Tools? I changed the USB port on the computer the keyboard is plugged in and rebooted, reloaded the drivers, I'M at my wits end at this point.

Is the keyboard not working at all (as in, no notes generated), or is it just the transport controls?

The Midi keyboard doesn't do anything inside Pro Tools, wont play notes no controller features, but if I load Standalone EZ Keys or Matrix 12 I can jam away on the keyboard but no midi or USB connection inside Pro Tools.

It should be listed in the device window. If it's there, you may have to select it. I'm at work and don't have any keyboards here that I can plug in, but I'm guessing you have to select it in this window...

did you try going to the m audio website to up date your controller driver for os and axiom hopefully they should have what you need although they are not the biggest supporters of avid!

Yes sir I tried that, still didn't work, I think I might try my M-Audio Keystation Mini 32 and see if I can get that working next as a test.

That certainly is weird. I've only used M-Audio keyboards, and it's always been a given when plugging them in (mac or PC). They just work with PT.

on your instrument track / or your midi track .. do you see midi input levels for input ??? in the input list is the instrument selected correctly ??? does this device show up in your midi studio setup ???

standard stuff here though, nothing crazy .. just signal flow through pro tools midi ..
