Where good price for MIX and 888|24?
 

Does anybody know where I can buy a MIX system (and an 888|24 I/O) for the best price?

Any idea what I can expect to pay? All I can find is the MSRP of $7,995 for Pro Tools 24|MIX and $3,695 for the 888|24 I/O.

Give Digi Presales a call on the toll free number at 1.800.333.2137 for a list of Digidesign Authorized TDM Dealers for your area. (Athens, Georgia, where my sister teaches at UGA. Go Dawgs) Most dealers will offer discounts, especially when you are buying a system.

You could also try the Buy & Sell forum on our site for used gear. (but do remember that new systems include the free MIXpack plug-in bundles, so factor that into bang for the buck)
