PT 10 Play/Stop NIGHTMARE
 

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've already browsed all kinds of topics on this forum!

Every time I hit stop the cursor goes back!

And no the "Link Edit and Timeline"-related buttons didn't help and no transport-checking in preferences didn't either!

Please please please!!!!!

It almost never works, and when it does it works for like a day and then goes back to the previous setting!

I have no intention to be rude but I'm going to cry here!

Hi,

Timeline follows playback "Press N" on your keyboard

You're probably accidently hitting the N key and turning it on/off

Or your N key is faulty in some way

Page 420 of the Pro Tools Reference Guide. Change the state of the button underneath the Pencil Tool in the Edit window. That icon is the Timeline Insertion/Play Start Marker Follows Playback button.
