Left and Right Arrow keys stop working

I keep running into this problem using PT10 HD on a mac accell system. The left and right arrow keys suddenly stop working for jumping to the head or tail of a selected clip that's off screen. I have the a/z feature highlighted and need to close and reopen the session to get it working again. Driving me nuts - happens intermittently but enough to be an annoying bug. Re=opening the session and re-booting PT fixes the issue but that's getting old.

I'm also having an intermittent issue of the cursor icon disappearing on my right monitor on a 2 monitor set up - until I click up at the very top right corner of the right monitor and then it appears again. I don't have any screen saver or energy saver running. This only occurs when running Protools software and may be a related UI bug in Protools.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Have you tried Deleting Pro Tools Databases and Preferences? Quirks like that tend to go away when those files are recreated.

Yes, I've deleted PT prefs and databases many times, but the issue recurs fairly often. Just happened numerous times yesterday at the start of a new simple dialog editing session - just a single track, 1 dialog buss and master buss. I haven't seen any correlation with using numerous TDM or RTAS plugs, etc. Just that it has been happening ever since I started using PT 10HD. I even did a fresh install with a new boot drive, but still having this quirky issue.

Thanks
