Frequency analyzer

Is there a plug in to do spectrum/frequency analysis? Would like to study and adjust as needed but cannot seem to find anything that does this.

Thanks,

Paul

Inspector from Elemental Audio is FREE and some find it quite helpful, others will probably tell you not to bother, but see for yourself. http://www.elementalaudio.com/index.html

I'd recommend getting the full version while it's still $89, it's a great deal at that price. Far more useful.

Alternatives include SpectraFoo (expensive, though) and Waves PAZ (I've never used it, but I've not really heard good things about it).

As with many elements in the signal chain though, all of the above are bested by hardware.

Good luck!

If you want a full screen or any size real-time display on a separate computer (PC only - it's worth it) that does an amazing job, check out:

By the way, it works fine on XP.

Inspector XL at $89 is a far better value. Runs as a plugin, includes several plugin formats (RTAS, VST, AU) Mac and Windows. Has some very cool features.
