Track show/hide markers disable track record status
 

Using sends and returns via aux tracks I've setup a number to audio layback tracks to print my deliverables. I've also setup markers to quickly recall track show/hide states of say just dialogue tracks, so it nicely maps over my controller via HUI.
If I recall my layback channels and record enable and solo safe them then switch to another marker and back again the record enable and solo safe states have turned off....

Most likely the state of the channel is included in the marker.

I'll double check with the solo safe, but any channel that is record enabled has to stay visible if you want it to stay record enabled.

EDIT: Not having the same results regarding the solo safe, but the track un-record enabling itself was probably intentionally written as a safety precaution; most likely when disk space was much more of an issue.

If you hades track, it will go out of record. Doesn't matter how you hide it.

if you hide/ show a track,
it will go out of rec enable,
not rec, as you can't show/ hide during rec.

i only wish you wouldn't lose solo status when changing views...
