Hi,

Have you checked whether you can transfer the ilok licenses? Go to ilok and select transfer and see if there's any restriction or whether the box is available for selection to be transferred! I think TC have some restriction on transfers, but i'm not totally sure, but i had to place one on a new ilok and send it and still it couldn't be re-registered.

I sold my TC Tools asset a few years ago, and they do have to approve the transfer. It took about 2 weeks for them to respond, but they did indeed allow the transfer. That being said, your buyer should be aware that there might be a delay in the transfer process because of this, and should definitely contact TC beforehand to see what their current policy is.

I managed to do a lic xfer on one of my MD3's ( 2 years ago).The other one that still 'lives' on another ilok,needs a TC Approval.so probably if i try to move it to an empty ilok perhaps i wont bne able to' remove' it from my account, since licence is under...investigation ;-) me thinks

Thanks everyone for pointing this out.

Yes, I am in contact with TC Electronic, and they have confirmed that these are full licenses and transferable to another user.

I have been given a realistic response time from them of about 2-3 business days to approve the transfer.
