If you're truly considering Pro Tools to replace either of the DAWs you mentioned, please purchase a one month subscription to the real full version before rejecting the idea. The full version of Pro Tools 2018.3 is very impressive.

So has anyone figured this out yet? I can't open a project. Same error as everyone else here.

I installed Pro Tools First 2018.3. It has solved my problem. My songs are back.
