Midi tempo question (superior drummer)

I started a song with superior drummer doing a drum track. The "conductor track" was off and I had my tempo set to 128 bpm, and I mapped out all my drums using that tempo.

This song has alot of tempo changes, and in order to do a tempo change you have to turn the conductor track on.

The problem is, my drums are stuck playing at 128 bpm no matter what else the tempo is set to in the session. How can I get it to play at the desired tempo???

Use a tick-based instrument track or MIDI track, and turn the conductor on. Doesn't that work?

The files in SD2 are all midi based so they will change tempo to whatever you want. LEt's say you want to change from bar 22 to bar 30, to a tempo of 85. All you need do is go to Event>tempo operations window and type in the selection start and end times and hit apply. The tempo will now change for that section and SD will update accordingly.
