Volume too low on bounced waw files

Hi All

I'm a newbie.
When I bounce the recorded tracks to waw and then convert the waw file to MP3 (via iTunes or Ease Audio freeware) the volume is markedly lower than music I have on iTunes already (imported from CDs and downloaded). Both the waw file and MP3 are much lower in volume when played with iTunes.

What can I do?

Hope anybody has some suggestions.

Thanks!

Send it to a mastering engineer with thousands of $/£ worth of equipment and years of experience.

Other than that, put Maxim on your master fader and bring down the threshold. Will increase volume but don't expect a 'mastered' product.

Until you have it professionally mastered, you can downloaded the free version of the Massey L2007 Mastering Limiter and insert it into the Master fader track. Heck insert 2. I love it. If you don't want to purchase it, you can use it til your hearts' content. You'll just have to boost the output gain before you bounce, and the "vibrant" setting really sparkles.
