Pr Tools | Quartet noise inside the hardware

My Pro Tools | Quartet is making strange noise inside the hardware when the computer starts. Sounded as if it does not have enough power (just to express the sound, definitely there is proper power and USB cable connected to it). The lights buttons do not light up, but occasional flickering.

Anyone with solution, please help, Please please.

Thank you.

The mini-USB jack on the back of the unit can become dodgy. You might need to either make sure the plug is staying at an angle such that it maintains the connection consistently, or if you're feeling confident, you could try inspecting inside the unit and seeing if you can use a pair of needle-nose pliers to tighten the metal connection piece to make a more secure connection.
