Controlling clip gain with the scrub wheel?

Just getting started using an artist control. Does anyone know if it's possible (and if possible, how) to assign clip gain to the scrub wheel? Would be nice to be able to wheel that sheet around.

I'm pretty sure there is a built in clip gain function on the wheel page, or the clip gain page.

However, when push comes to shove, it's actually faster to do this with the mouse and KB by making your selection ( will effect multiple clips at the same time ) and holding shift/win (or mac equivalent) and using your scroll wheel to nudge the clip gain up/down by .5db

I came from Nuendo and I'm very pleased that avid hired those guys to give them this feature lol.

yes...im using it every day.
You need to assign the wheel to clip gain in eucon.
Ihave a soft key that switches between horizontal zoom and clip gain
Im in the process of customizing the mccontrol ....quite fun.
I too, like jesse have come full circle started on pt ,then mainly used nuendo for 5 years and now that PT has clip gain and i can use it with my rme hardware,I'm happy
,Its much better for when i have to hire in freelancers.
cheers ant

Re: Controlling clip gain with the scrub wheel?

Thank you for the assistance. I figured it out... I now have to figure out how to set up a softkey so that I don't have to travel down into menus to get this to work quickly. Like Jesse suggested, I'm thinking it's probably just easiest to ctrl-shift arrow key it, like I have been doing. Better yet, ride a fader and then convert it to clip gain envelopes. Love the flexibility!

Huge tool

My 6 transport buttons are

Preview
Do To Selected
Do To All
Coalesce auto to clip
Coalesce clip to auto
Write to All

using the fader to write some moves, printing them, I'd been wanting to do that in Nuendo for a long time.
