Disapearing Plugins

I have a problem that happens every once in a while in my sessions. I try to pull up the plugins page and it does not show. Almost as if its hidden on the page. The same thing happens to my transport. I use Protool 6.4 with windows XP, but this has happened with previous versions as well. Anyone know the fix to this problem?

Are you talking about the insert dropdown menu? Are you sure it isn't just confusing at stereotracks with the stereo and non stereo plugins? Have you installed the plugins correctely(Do they sometimes work?)?

The question is a little confusing, but to add to Brett's comment, I know that Waves plugins that only work at lower sampling rates will not show up in 88,2 and 96k sessions.

Yes it works most of the time. Ive noticed the problem only sometimes, and never when the track is originally created but later when I reopen it. What happens is I will open the mix screen goto any track and attempt to open one of the plugins from the track window. The plugin indicator will show on the track but the actual plugin window will not appear. Ive tried minimizing both the edit and mix windows to make sure the plugin was not some how hidden behind them but I cant get to it.

When this has happened to me it has never been with a Waves plugin. I normally record in at 48k for my sessions.
