hi, can someone point me in the direction of where i can buy hard drives with the oxford chipset 911 in the UK?

online or in store (PC World?)

i am having trouble locating something online as i dont really know what to search for...

can i get a 1TB drive with the 911 chipset? it only seems to be 500GB.

i have been looking at this site as well and cant seem to find really large drives. i am probably just being really useless and not looking properly. any help?

also another really stupid question i am sure, as these drives are firewire, does that mean they do not require additional power?

I am new to the firewire external hard drive dynamic but as the OTW website states (somewhere)....some are bus powered and some will require an ac connection...my firewire hard drive works on the bus but an ac converter cable was included with the package...the tech folks at otherworld seem to know their products inside/out and seem to like their jobs, which I found refreshing...good luck...

i need an external 911 oxford firewire 400 port drive...for LE on mac.

I have been searching for 4 days.

I cant find anything.

theres not enought info........ some are just way too expensive.......

those sites are no good......... i found one just now....and its out of stock.....and some of them sites have nothing for me.......in my price range and desired choice.......... some of them sites are horrible to find ANYTHING.... not enough info on specs........

just go to the LE mac section.........there are 2 threads about external drives....... both hounded by me.......
