Initialization Error Code: -7
 

I have been using Pro Tools 9.0.5 for a while now, with few problems. (apart from the workspace browser crashing the entire system)

I went to open up a session that I was working on yesterday and I get an Initialization Error Code: -7, which is then followed by an application error (0xc0000142)

I have tried re-installing Pro Tools from the original disk, from the 9.0.2 download and more.. but can't get Pro Tools to open,

Anyone who could help, it would be much appreciated as I am currently running a few post sessions and really need my DAW back online!

Is there any way of contacting Avid directly ?

same problem here! did the same, uninstall and reinstall. I notice a lot of new posts for this same issue since like oct 14, 2012 so recent. a conflicting windows update? not sure. was working perfectly fine and just bam

me so in Windows 7 with pro tools (error code 7) if you know that you can do to stop me please communicate.

Just started happening to me. I have posted another thread on the same issue since I have not yet found an answer on any other thread. Is there any solution found on this? Anyone?

Can you get me log files from this location?

C:\Users\<username>\AvidLogFiles\

Please put it somewhere (like Dropbox) and post a link here so I can download and see what I can find.
