Funny OS 8 stuff

Strange thing has happened, Some of my folders when opened lists the files Alphabetically but backwards Z to A? I have Selected list by NAME?

Also I have noticed that my Internal Hard drive Icon has become a Folder? It was an icon of a hard drive for 3 weeks then one day it came up as a folder icon?

Not sure but this might of happened after running Disk Doctor

Any ideas?

I have seen this happen before. Nothing you would need to call Wolf Blitzer over for.

With OS 8 and later, when folders are listed by NAME, there is a little arrow in the top right of that window. This flips the layout between ascending and decending. Give it a shot.
Also, Norton does at times tinker with icons. Highlight the item, select get info, highlight the icon being used, and either delete it or paste something else on it.
