I just got another I/O card for my PT III. system. So I have now 32 voices. The thing is that I have to have two diferent HD's on both cards to run all the voices. And I have to copy files arround on the second I/O's HD all the time...
Is there any way to change this with software solution...
Anyone of you had two such cards together? Please, I need someone two help me with this.

That's it 16 tracks per/card per/Hard Drive

Once you allocate a voice to that card the files have to be on that Hard Drive.

I don't know if this is a PCI or NuBus Setup but if it's a PCI setup I'd try looking for a used D24 card it will give you 32 voices for audio and 24bit recording It will free up a slot and you can run newer versions of ProTools!

And now that the New ProTools HD is out the price of a D24 card shouldn't be more than a few hundred bucks.
