In the debate between Pro Control and Control 24, one issue always seems to come up: 5.1 surround mixing/monitoring. I know that C24 is capable of monitoring 5.1, but it is well integrated for real-life applications? Is anyone out there using the C24 on a regular basis for surround projects?

I have the opportunity to either go with a Pro Control plus Edit Pack or a Control 24 at my work (we're moving into a new facility)...and I like the look and feel of the C24 better than the PC, but does the Edit Pack have a huge up on the C24 (aside from joysticks)??? Thanks guys!!!

I've mixed surround on C24--it works great! You can use the mouse or the knobs for panning. Sure, I'd love to have motorized panners but I just couldn't justify the extra $10,000. That's $5k per panner!

Flawless, it does exactly what it claims it does.
You can control everything in the panner window from this unit.
A solid piece, two thumbs up for JLCooper quality control.

It is too bad Digi doesn’t support the MCS-Orbiter. (the motorized version)
