how can i prevent guest engineers from copying my dae folder to their drive?
most plugs are protected but its still

There are some utilities that will make a folder invisible, password protected.

Check this out, and hide your DAE folder!

I thought all plugins out there besides the Digirack plugins were protected. I don't think the engineers ripping you off will get too far with them.

They have a new device now. It's called "Nadular Software Protection". You merely clip it on the gonads of your guest engineer and if they try to steal the plugin, they get a hefty electric shock. Works every time!
