I have an opportunity to get some
18" IBM T86A LCD monitors for a pretty decent price, and for even less, there seems to be some good feedback on the slightly smaller Samsung 770 17" LCD monitors
I was planning on getting two LCD monitors (analog, with the Jeronimo AGP card), and was wondering if anyone has seen the IBM, or the 17" Samsung 770 in action. Aside from whether they're great or not, do two of those big mammas take up too much space between the nearfield audio monitors? Have you, in your travels, seen any elegant implemetations that don't get too horribly in the way of things? I've grown somewhat accustomed to using a pair of the "old" Apple 15.1 inch critters, but would love to get a larger view of things.
