How Do I sync MPC2000 or keyboards that has sequencers using Protools as controller

Hi,

I have certain local projects that require that I use their keyboard or MPC2000 sequencer to lay down down midi notes within Protools 5.0 midi or just use Protools as the controller and trigger outside sequencer.

I'm using the MOTU Midi time piece AV. Could someone list the procedures. Thanks so much. I really need this ASAP.

LH, this can be a very simple procedue. It involves using OMS to insure that you have your computer talking to you MTPAV and the MTPAV connected to and talking to your keys or MPC2000. Once that is done simply send MTC out to one of the OMS instruments that routes thru the MTPAV, hit play on pro tools, out comes MTC, any instrument with a sequencer that is identified in OMS and selectable with you select the output MTC to device should follow along nicely, also insure that the device you are trying to slave is set to receive MTC.
