I've noticed that there's only about $20 difference between the Plextor 8/20 CDR and the 8/2/20 CDRW. I've also seen many recommendations here for the 8/20.
I don't have any compelling need for the CDRW, though I wouldn't mind having that capability. For burning ordinary CDs (especially audio CDs) is there any advantage to the 8/20 over the 8/2/20??
