speaking of ergonomics, i like to do sound design at the PC because it is so fun to go into fader flip plugin mode and tweak effect params with the silky digifaders. Problem is the keyboard sitting on the buttons is constantly pissing me off. I am considering getting an articulating arm designed to support an LCD monitor and adapting it to hold my keyboard so I can swing it out of the way when I want to.
Has anyone solved this problem, short of buying an edit pack? (the pc is an expensive mouse. i don't need a $7000 keyboard. I know, joysticks are nice, but i actually like the three knob layout for surround panning that the PC gives me. Though I wish I could flip THAT to the faders.) With the thickness of the PC, there isn't really room for my knees if I add an under-the-desk keypboard tray.

thanks all.
