Scribble Strip Disapearing

I seem to have a problem with one of my Fader Banks. After the unit is on and heats up for about 15 minutes, the lower scribble strip on 4 or 5 of the channels goes out. Sometimes touching the strips will turn them back on momentarily. If I power off and let cool for 15 minutes or so, the strips come back on for another 15 minutes. Anyone else experience anything like this or replaced the scribble strips themselves? I only ask because the unit is no longer under waranty.
