ProControll handrest

Does anybody have any experience covering the hand rest at the bottom of Procontrol with leather or perhaps repainting it? The paint wears away like its nothing.

I believe digi is supposed to replace the arm-rest on earlier PCs. I have the same problem, but havn't followed up on it since I have my unit housed in an enclosure, which sort of protects it. This is kind of whack considering how much jack you dish out for these things.

I just saw a ProControl at a local SamAsh and the material on the armrest was peeling away. Is it a thin layer of rubber??

Earlier models had a bad rubber paint used on em. Take it up with your dealer, you should be offered a new armrest with the new grade paint surface...
