Forgiveness if these are old issues (or features that everyone else is happy with!). I'm new to ProControl but not new to automated desks and I've got 2 questions: The unimportant one is turning off the fader motors doesn't, is this designed behaviour or is there some other option that needs setting?
The important one is that whilst replaying a mix in all-read you can grab a fader or other control and actually take control of the playback (no automation seems to be recorded) - on a Logic DFC for example if you grab a fader in that condition and move it no change in audio level takes place and the level mimic doesn't change. Is this really the designed behaviour or is there some option somewhere, I find this one very concerning.

Pete, as far as the second question my answer is yes, it is the designed behaviour, and I agree it would be nice to have a 'level-lock' option not to change the levels when in all-read mode. I really didn't get the unimportant one, sorry...
