Anyone know of some great hi res digital meters I can put on top of the PC to see whats really going on in my bounces?

if you want to spend big bucks, and have to have hardware meters, get the Dorroughs. They rock. If you want killer meters in software for Pro Tools, get the SpectraFoo meter software. There's a couple versions, the $500 one has fantastic metering (as many channeles as you want) without all the RTA stuff that the $1000 full version has.

Good Luck!

I agree that metering in PT is a real pain.
I think it is worse in 5.0 or combination of 5.0 and OS9. PC and screen meters are not accurate with what you're hearing.

Do you agree that the meters on the 888 are pretty close? I tend to watch those more now. They seem to have ballistics more closely matching what I am hearing. I just wish they were larger, more resolution.

I just wish Digi could get the PC meters to act like the 888 does...
