My Captain,

How big are your sessions? I am always running huge sessions off of a single Cheetah 9 gig. Will the 36 hang?

it doesn't matter 36 0r 72 as long as you partion it to 18 of 2gig or 24 of 1.5 gig parts whichever you like. always remember smaller the partion the closest the data will be and the fastest the read & write head will be.

the point is to have to 4 of 9 gig rather than one 36 gig. so that read & write could be faster.

Steve
Which model Cheetah is that?
Are you using one big partition?
I run huge sessions off one ST39102LW Cheetah (people are amazed!!) in a single partition.
These are the same drives used in the RADAR 2
so I often share them between that and PT...

Cap'n....
How do you partition your 36 Giggers?

Jules..
Is that Kraft Jeezus or Dairylea Jeezus??!!

Cheese all
