A crash wipes this menu both when I've created a new project and the last saved project or version? Seems pointless?

More worrying is that with 2018 it seems to also wipe the session backups from the latest opened version...?

the big issue iw your Crash not waht happens when it crashes !!! right !!!

are you asking for help about your crashes or just venting a little about this issue ??
