Hey guys -
I've got a mono VO which i'd like to render, effectively getting the effect of a e.g. pan sweeping from left to right.
I've used two methods and both have different outcomes
METHOD 1
I duplicate the mono clip and place both mono clips into a stereo track, then render it using e.g. PANMAN (soundtoys) or MONDO MOD (waves) to get the stereo sweep. this method works as I'd want it - hearing the stereo sweep from e.g. left to right
METHOD 2
I create two mono tracks, hard pan them left and right respectively then place the clip onto one mono track and duplicating that clip placing it into the other mono track. hitting play would give me effectively a dead centre VO. doing the same audiosuite process above, and rendering it, creates an wet processed VO however, the pan doesnt' sweep left and right.
I'd like Method 2 to mimic Method 1. is this possible or not?
