HI forum

I have been tasked with completing an S6 installation; the guy who put it together first of all wired it up wrong, then didn't complete the software and console installation correctly (probably related issues)
The situation I have now is that the Master Module software is out of date form the (functional) modules, and that one of the Fader Modules has NO software installed on it (as far as I can tell in Utility Mode). I want to build a Restore USB but I haven't got a copy of the .ISO that Avid suggests I should be able to download in this article.
http://avid.force.com/pkb/articles/how_to/Avid-S6-System-Restore

I can't run the latest S6 software updates because the client will not pay to go to PT12, so the latest version I can use is 2.0

So what I need to understand how to do is:

get hold of the .ISO so I can attempt a system restore

reinstall the MM software to 2.0

reinstall Module software on each of the modules, especially the one that is reporting system 0.0.0

I have attached a grab of the faulty Fader Module readout in Utility Mode

Thanks

Robin

Greetings,

The S6 Master Module System Restore .ISO should be sitting in your Avid Account under My Products and Subscriptions > S6 Software Updates.

All of the Troubleshooting and How-to articles can be found here:

Reinstalling 2.0 on the Master Module requires that you download the Master Module Installer from your Avid Account to a flash drive and connect it to one of S6's USB ports. Log out of S6 and into the Admin account (password = password). I would recommend first Uninstalling any existing versions on the Master Module (Control Panel) before you reinstall 2.0.

S6 Support can be reached via this number: 888-456-3444.

best,
