One of the criticisms many have had about Boom is there are no separate audio outputs for each of the drum parts. The workaround has always been to solo each part and record separately to an audio track. Offline bounce made this go a bit faster, but still had some steps. But now with PT 12.3 and track commit it is a snap. Just set up your Boom track the way you want it and then simply solo each drum part and use track commit. In seconds you have the drum part on an audio track. Rename it as the new track default name will always be whatever you named the Boom instrument track with "cm" attached. (ie, "Boom.cm"). So I use Boom Kick cm, Boom Snare cm, etc.

You can do a whole Boom track this way in matter of minutes. Pretty cool

I suspect this same method will work with any VI that doesn't allow for separate audio outputs of parts. Just wanted to pass it along as a tip.

Nice thing is, once kit parts are in audio, you can process everything just like you would an actual kit and get some great sounding rhythms going.:cool:
