Hey all,

Recently purchased a Pro Tools | Duet interface. Setup and installation was fine on my custom PC (running Windows 7 64 bit) but when I tried to install the driver on my laptop (running Windows 7 32 bit), it simply quits after the progress bar gets to "Control Panel Installing" (after "vcredist_x86 installing"). I am definitely running it in Administrator mode. It kind of installs some corrupted version of the PT IO control app but when I open it it's basically a blank gray window. Any ideas on what might be the problem?

Thanks

Wow...i have the exact same problem with my Pro Tools Duet on a Win7-System (32bit) Home Premium and Professional.

There seems to be no way for a solution.

I have a Mac, too. There is no problem. The Firmware of the Unit is up to date. The Unit works fine. The USB-cable is fine.

But I need the Duet for my older projects on Win!

Any suggestions?

just a guess but I would imagine it's a 64bit driver.
