Does anyone know if it's still possible to buy replacement faders? I've look on the avid site but couldn't find them. Actually I probably only need the rubber belt but I guess "good luck finding that".

Any info would be appreciated.

Sorry for the late reply, I didn't realize these post were here. Thanks but the fullcompass one's aren't for the pro control.

Dave I think that one you have looks right, is it possible to see another photo that shows the under side of it a bit more?

Cheers,
Chris

Hard to know what you needed as you never said Pro Control or Control 24, just replacement faders in the forum which are for several controllers.

Sorry, you're right. The procontrol forum used to be a single forum in the past. I should have noticed they merged it with other legacy controllers. Anyhow, I'm looking for a pro control replacement fader.

Thanks!

Here's a couple shots of the one I have. I thought it was for the 002, but its possible they are all the same from that era. I could mail it to you and you can test it out for the price of the shipping.

Thanks! I'll compare them later when I'm at the studio and see if it looks like the right one.

I finally got around to popping open my procontrol and I'm afraid those faders aren't the right ones. I continue my search. I have one dead out of 16 so it's not the end of the world but it would be great to replace it eventually. Thanks!

You can swap the fader with a known good one to verify a faulty fader and not the controller, same with parts on the fader. Also clean (Nu-trol or Deoxit) and re-seat the ribbon cable from the fader to the controller, the connectors can oxidize and get a bit cranky.

Hey,

Thanks for the info. It's actually a broken belt that I screwed up cleaning the rails. I did a search earlier for belts and came up with nothing but thanks to you I see they're available! Much appreciated!
