syncing sound module with pro tools 11.1.2

Hi Guys
I have a client coming in with his sound module and floppy disc's,so I presume i can come out of the module and record the midi to a audio track that should b pretty basic! but can I get pro tools to sync with the module, IE; if i hit record/play on pro tools it triggers the module to start at the same time?
I have to record the tracks one at a time.

"Wait for Note" is your friend here. You hit record and nothing happens. Then you start your stuff on the outboard module and once your session starts seeing MIDI commands, it will begin recording.

Thanks for the reply jfreak, i will give it a shot, so just too confirm, put track in record mode with wait for note on, then start the module,because i am only recording one track at a time r u sayig that this will start each instrument at its right spot in the tune?
